Quiros Switches to O-Works 2-Ball and Wins

Over the weekend, Alvaro Quiros won the Rocco Forte Open, his 7th career European Tour title and his first since 2011.

It was a long time coming for Alvaro, who was still searching on the greens as recently as last week’s Open de Portugal. Alvaro has been switching between Toulon Design and Odyssey putters this year.  After extensive testing with longtime Odyssey European Tour rep Seamus Sweeney, Alvaro put the O-Works 2-Ball (with the Microhinge insert) into play. “Players are always looking for an edge in performance and Microhinge gives us the opportunity,” Seamus says.

Why did he settle on the O-Works 2-Ball?  Check out the GIF below of Alvaro testing his O-Works 2-Ball and you’ll find the answer.

As you can see, Alvaro generates immediate forward roll with Microhinge allowing his putts to stay on it’s intended line to ultimately make more putts. #ThisIsHowWeRoll #BallDontLie
