Kisner’s Clutch Putting Sparks 2nd PGA TOUR Victory

 In Tour News

South Carolina native Kevin Kisner rode his trusty White Hot Pro #7 putter to erase a 3 stroke deficit in the final round to claim his second PGA TOUR title at the DEAN & DELUCA Invitational at historic Colonial Country Club. The win came just hours after Odyssey’s first win of the day, when Alex Noren took home the BMW PGA Championship over on the European Tour.

The 33-year old Georgia Bulldog needed only 26 putts on Sunday to bring home the title. After making birdie on the par 4 15th hole, Kisner held a two shot lead with three to play. He held off the competition when he holed a clutch 5- foot par putt on the 72nd hole.

Kisner recorded an impressive 1.956 Strokes-gained Putting in the final round for a total of 5.701 Strokes-gained Putting for the entire week. The win will move Kisner from 43rd to 22nd in the World Golf Rankings.

Here’s a putting tip we recently recorded with Kisner the week of The PLAYERS Championship:
